Departing: Istanbul

Day 1

Arrival to Istanbul, transfer to the hotel in Istanbul. Welcome – cocktail and information about the program.

Day 2 Istanbul – Canakkale (Via Tekirdag)

After breakfast, visits to Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Hagia Eirene and Hagia Sophia, the Church of divine wisdom. Dinner and overnight in Canakkale.

Day 3 Canakkale – Izmir

After breakfast, visiting the ancient city of Troy, where St. Paul was revived, Assos and Pergamum, one of the sites of “The Seven Churches of Revelation”. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 4 Izmir

After breakfast, visiting Ephesus, the most known site of the “Seven Churches”, visited by St. Paul, who talked here to the Ephesian people (apostle 21:28-39). Visiting the St. Johns Basilica, where the Evangelist St. John is buried and the “House of Virgin Mary” who died here. Dinner and overnight in Izmir.

Day 5 Izmir – Pamukkale

After breakfast, departure for Pamukkale. On the way visiting Sardis and Philedelphia (Alasehir) –city of brotherly love-, both sites of the “Seven Churches” in Pamukkale –Last distinguished of the ‘Seven Churches”– the Evangelist Philippus settled down the first Christian population, Paulus wrote his “ Letters to the Colosser” (3:18-25, 4:1, 7-8,12-13). On top of a hill, we find the graves of Philippus and two of his daughters, who were tortured and murdered here. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 6 Pamukkale – Antalya

After breakfast, visiting the travertines and antique city of Hierapolis. After lunch, driving to Antalya. On the way we visit Laodicea also a site of the “Seven Churches” (Unexcaved). Dinner and overnight in Antalya.

Day 7

After breakfast visiting Perge, where St. Paul and Barnabas preached. Dinner and overnight in Antalya.

Day 8

Transfer to the airport.
